Last updated: 28 October 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Jemmtek Resources Limited (“Jemmtek”, “we”, “us” or “our”) collects, uses and protects personal data when you visit jemmtek.com or contact us through it. We handle personal data in line with the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023.
Who we are
Jemmtek Resources Limited is a Nigerian oilfield services company. We are responsible for the personal data described in this policy. Our contact details are at the end of this page.
What personal data we collect
Information you give us. When you use the contact form we collect the details you enter: your name, email address, the subject and your message. If you email or phone us, we keep your contact details and the content of your communication.
Technical information. Like most websites, our server, security tools and analytics record technical information when you visit, such as your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you view and the date and time of your visit.
We do not ask for sensitive personal data through this website. Please do not include it in your messages.
How we use your personal data
- To respond to your enquiries and give you information about our products and services.
- To operate, secure and maintain this website, and to understand how it is used so that we can improve it.
- To keep business records and meet our legal and regulatory obligations.
We do not sell your personal data.
Our lawful bases
We process personal data where you have given consent (for example by submitting the contact form), where it is needed to take steps you ask for before entering into a contract, where we have a legitimate interest in running and securing our business and website that is not outweighed by your rights, or where the law requires it.
Analytics, cookies and third-party services
- Analytics. We use Burst Statistics, a privacy-focused analytics tool that runs on our own website and does not use cookies. We also use Google Analytics 4, a service provided by Google, to understand how visitors use the website. It uses cookies and collects information such as your approximate location, device, browser and the pages you view, which is sent to Google. Google states that Google Analytics 4 does not log or store individual IP addresses. You can block these cookies in your browser settings or use Google’s opt-out browser add-on. We do not use advertising trackers on this website.
- Cookies. We ask for your consent before we use Google Analytics cookies or load embedded Google Maps content, and you can change your choice at any time. We do not use advertising cookies. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time in the “Manage your cookie consent” section below.
- Google Maps. Our Contact page shows a map from Google Maps. The map loads only after you accept marketing cookies. Once it loads, Google may receive your IP address and set cookies, under its own privacy policy.
- Security and spam protection. Firewall and anti-spam tools may process your IP address and request details to protect the website and the contact form.
- Email delivery. Messages sent through the contact form are delivered to our team by email.
- Hosting, backups and maintenance. The website and its backups are stored with our hosting provider. Our website maintenance providers may access website data only to maintain and support the site.
Manage your cookie consent
Use the settings below to choose which cookies we may use. You can change your choice at any time.
You have loaded the Cookie Policy without javascript support. On AMP, you can use the manage consent button on the bottom of the page.
Who we share personal data with
We share personal data only with the service providers described above who help us run the website, and with regulators, courts or law enforcement where we are legally required to. We do not sell personal data.
Transfers outside Nigeria
Some of our service providers, including Google for map content and website analytics, may process data outside Nigeria. Where this happens we take reasonable steps to make sure your personal data stays protected in line with applicable data protection law.
How long we keep personal data
We keep enquiries for as long as needed to respond to you and to keep our business records, and we keep technical logs only for as long as needed for security and website operation. You can ask us to delete your personal data at any time (see Your rights below).
How we protect personal data
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures, including a firewall, spam protection, access controls and regular backups. No website or online service can be guaranteed completely secure.
Your rights
Under the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 you have the right to ask us for access to the personal data we hold about you, to correct it, to delete it, to restrict or object to our use of it, to receive it in a portable format, and to withdraw your consent at any time. To exercise any of these rights, email [email protected]. If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can also complain to the Nigeria Data Protection Commission.
